A session in the Dail was suspended for a period of time today after a row broke out over farm payments. The row was between the Healy Raes and Fianna Fail TD Marc MacSharry.
The Leas Ceann Comhairle tried to calm things down, but was forced to suspend proceedings for five minutes.
“Deputy MacSharry you will not speak to the chair like that,” the Leas Ceann Comhairle Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher said. “I’ll suspend the house for five minutes.”
