Established in 2013 when Liam Woulfe’s Freshgrass Group merged with the French Groupe Roullier’s Timac Agro Ireland business, Grassland Agro is one of Ireland’s leading Agri product suppliers. They currently employ over 100 people nationally, with depots in Cork, New Ross, Belfast and Slane as well as a head office in Limerick.

They produce and sell a wide range of conventional commodity fertilizers as well as a complete range of speciality fertilizer and soil conditioning products. In addition, Grassland Agro sells a full range of animal mineral blocks as well as crop biostimulants and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier they have access to 350 dedicated professional engineers as well as many University and research groups meaning they are constantly updating and improving the products and services they have available to their customers.

While all Grassland Agro products are directly distributed by the Agri Merchants and Co-ops nationwide, Grassland Agro has over thirty sales specialists visiting farmers across Ireland on a daily basis demonstrating the merits of Grassland Agro products. This means there is always a Grassland Agro specialists at hand to ensure customers are able to gain maximum benefit from products.

Grassland Agro has been recognised as one of Ireland’s leading agribusinesses and have won numerous awards in recent years including ‘The best French company in Ireland’ award at the 2016 Ireland France Business Awards and ‘Overall business of the year’ at the 2014 Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards where they were noted by the organisers for their innovative approach and continuous investment in its staff and services.
