US milk prices have continued to outperform the five-year average in 2011 and they have reported stronger milk prices in the earlier months of the year when seasonally, prices decline.
The All Milk Price for July was $22.10 per 100 lbs (34.31c/l). This is 39% higher than the July 2010 price.
Class 111 milk price (milk for cheese production) has increased by $2.59 (3.94 c/l) to $19.11 (29.05 c/l) per 100 lbs. Class 111 milk has averaged $17.06 (25.94 c/l), the highest January-June average milk price since 2008.

Class 1V milk price (milk for the manufacture of butter and SMP) has increased in June by 76 cents to $21.05 per 100 lbs (32 c/l).
Class 11 milk price (for cream, ice-cream, yoghurt) has increased by 74 cents to $21.37 (32.50 c/l) per 100 lbs.
