Kinisla announces €4m milk price top-up for suppliers

Kinisla suppliers will receive a top-up for milk supplied in January to April this year.

The payment is based on Kerry Creameries Limited's average milk solids.

An additional 1.24c/l, excluding VAT, will be paid to suppliers of Kerry Creameries Limited (KCL) on all milk supplied under the milk supply contract from 1 January to 30 April of this year, the company has announced.

The announcement was made following consultation with the board of Kerry Co-Operative Creameries Limited, and the co-op has said the payment will total €4m.

The co-op has yet to confirm a price for June supplies.

Kinisla has also been asked how many suppliers signed up for the new milk contracts as of the deadline of 4 August.
