Town of Monaghan co-op has won the contract to supply own label milk to the Aldi retail chain in Ireland. They will be the third milk supplier to the retainer, with Arrabawn and Strathroy already suppying the German company, which has an 8% share of the Irish grocerry market.
The new contract will begin on 26th June, with Town of Monaghan Co-op supplying Aldi stores with two and three litre 100% Republic of Ireland farmed milk that carries the National Dairy Council logo (NDC). The milk will be sold under Aldi’s Clonbawn brand.

The co-op has already partnered with Aldi for over four years, supplying a number of yogurts in Aldi’s award-winning Irish yogurt range.
