The latest Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction recorded an overall 4.3% drop in the value of the index compared to the last auction.
Whole milk powder dropped by 5.3% to €3,251/t at the auction which was held on Tuesday 2 September.
There was also a decrease recorded in skim milk powder of 5.8% which was one of the biggest drops at this auction.
Anhydrous milk fat also saw a reduction of 2.6% at this auction while a decrease of 2.6% was recorded for butter.
