Dairygold's board met this Tuesday and decided to keep its milk price unchanged for June supplies.

The co-op's price stands at 30.36c/l excluding VAT at 3.3% protein and 3.6% fat, including a 0.5c/l quality bonus.

Dairygold joins Kerry and Lakeland in holding prices in recent days. Glanbia is the only processor so far this month to increase its milk price.

There have been contradicting market signals this month, with Ornua's PPI index confirming its rebound for a second consecutive month, while the New Zealand-based Global Dairy Trade platform marked its fourth consecutive price drop at this Tuesday's auction.
