A group in Co Galway, aptly named Ballygar Truckin’, is holding a challenge on Saturday 5 August that will test the skills of even the best truck driver.
The challenge, which takes place in Ballygar, Co Galway, at 4pm, is reversing a truck and trailer for 10km, with tractors also welcomed as part of a tractor run.
The event is aiming to raise money for Galway Hospice and Western Alzheimers, with a charity auction taking place following the run. Ballygar Truckin’ takes place as part of Ballygar Carnival, a festival which is taking place for the 73rd time this weekend.
