Puck Fair
10-12 August: Held in Killorglin, Co Kerry, the Puck Fair is one of Ireland’s most unusual street festivals, during which a wild mountain goat is crowned king of the town for three days. 16 August: The Tinahely Farm Shop is hosting a scarecrow competition in the town.
