The venture is promoted by Enjoy Travel and features a host of bands and artists with Fairport Convention as the headline act.
It’s a new departure for Gerry Flynn and Enjoy Travel who believe there is an opening for a major overseas folk festival where devotees can enjoy the comforts of some of the best of folk music while away from muddy fields and basking in the lovely climate of southern Spain.
An array of acts will feature over the five-day festival, including The Sweeneys, Darragh Folk, Hillbilly Troupe, Show of Hands, Garden Gnomes, Niamh Parsons and Graham Dunne, Jessica Garcia, the Mighty Doonans and Ulster bluegrass band Knotty Pine as well as a host of others.
