To mark the silver jubilee of the festival in the lovely scenic seaside town in Co Down, there is something for everyone at the Rock The Point shows, which will be staged from 2 to 10 August. From country to comedy, from Celtic rock to pop, Warrenpoint is the place to visit during the first week of August. A major marquee will be erected and among those who are heading to Warrenpoint are Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, Johnny Brady, Bagatelle, The Whistling Donkeys, More Power To Your Elbow, Mindbenders, Chubby Brown, Brush Shiels, Ben Currie, Justin McGurk. Smokie are also on the way over.
