Farmers in Munster, together with Dairygold Co-op have helped to raise almost €50,000 over the last three years for the Irish Cancer Society and promote awareness of breast cancer in Ireland.
Pink silage bales have become a familiar sight on Irish farms, and farmers generously continue to support the Wrap it Pink campaign by buying pink silage wrap that includes a fixed donation cost to the Irish Cancer Society.

In 2017, farmers together with the Munster-based Dairygold contributed €17,500 to the Irish Cancer Society.
John O’Carroll, head of retail at Dairygold said: “As Pink Partners of the Irish Cancer Society, we’re proud to play our part in raising awareness of breast cancer among our farmer members and the wider rural community and we’d like to thank our farmer customers who came on board to support the campaign again this year.”
