Farmhand will display a wide range of products at this year’s FTMTA show including Krone’s latest Gen 5 Big Pack square baler, which is set to make its Irish show debut. The well-known Irish distributor of Krone, Amazone, APV and Quicke brands has taken a larger stand for this year’s event.

Other standout kit will include the Krone Big X 780 self-propelled forage harvester and the Amazone Cayena 6001-C tine drill. In addition, Farmhand will also display a selection of Krone mowers and tedders, as well as the Amazone UF1602 21m mounted sprayer and a range of fertiliser spreaders. These will include the ZA-V 3200 Hydro, ZA-M and ZG-TS 10001 trailed model. A range of Quicke loaders and APV equipment will also be on display on the stand.

One of the more notable features is a sturdier pre-compression chamber compared with the previous generation. Fill levels are now electronically monitored also.

Other new features include the PowerClean knotter cleaning system designed to keep the knotters free from debris. The new no-waste V-knotters have been designed to combine a Deering knot and Cormick loop knot in order to produce zero offcuts. Twine boxes can now be raised and lowered hydraulically.

The Krone Vendro 1120C 10 rotor trailed tedder launched last year will also be present. It offers an 11.2m working width.

New features include a complete mechanical driveline which consists of the main gearbox with a slip clutch, drive shafts, maintenance-free Octo Link finger clutches and sealed rotor gearboxes.

The Cayena 6001-C will be one of many Amazone machines on the Farmhand stand.
