A popular machine in Ireland in its previous Lely livery, Fendt exhibited its version of the Lotus tedder at Agritechnica last week. The new range is made up of three models, with working widths from 7.70m up to 12.50m.

The range includes the mounted six-rotor 770, the trailed eight-rotor 1020T and the trailed 10-rotor 1250T. Both trailed machines have a solid drawbar. A fitted frame with a back-set pivot point helps stabilise the machine and offers manoeuvrability. The drive shafts are equipped with maintenance-free double cross-joints. Rotor plates are fitted with the known flat tine arms that were fitted on the Lely machines.

The Fella-derived Twister tedder range sees the addition of a new top-end flagship model, the Twister 11010 DN. The 10-rotor 11010 DN offers a working width of 10.72m. It has an automatic safety switch-off with integrated free wheel which cuts the power if the machine is lifted above the headland setting. It can be equipped with a hydraulic swath cloth.
