There was a good crowd of people at the recent Valtra roadshow held in Cork’s showgrounds in conjunction with local Valtra dealer Paudy Buckley.
This event is part of a European roadshow that has called to 15 countries so far. Other Valtra dealers across Ireland including Clarke’s of Cavan held a similar event in recent days.
They are being run to promote the Valtra brand to customers and also to focus on the SmartTouch armrest.

Farmers and contractors had a chance to get behind the wheel of a wide range of tractor models including the A-series, the T-Series and the large S-series.
Paudy Buckley said: “We have a lot of solid enquiries for the full range of tractors. From the A series right up to the larger T-series, we have customers interested.
“Tractor of the year the T254, which was announced at Agritechnica last year, is getting a lot of attention from contractors. It’s a powerful package with great specification and, most importantly of all, is very easy to use.
“The armrest-mounted SmartTouch touchscreen is as easy as a smartphone to use which actually encourages farmers to make the most of the technology in these tractors”.
Also on hand on the day were a number of personnel from Valtra UK to demonstrate the tractors’ features and benefits.
