The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) will showcase its research into sustainable, resilient and prosperous farming systems to visitors at this year’s Balmoral Show. AFBI’s display will include an exhibit representing soil health, grassland systems, livestock production and slurry management, with the key focus on how to maximise performance while minimising the loss of nutrients to the air and water. On 13 and 16 April, visitors will be able to engage with AFBI and use microscopes to look at insects of importance to biodiversity and plant health.?
