The 19th Listowel Food Fair has something for everyone, with primary school cookery competitions, cookery demonstrations and feasts, all events taking place from 21 to 24 November.
Interesting talks include Eat Your Way to a Healthier Life, with HSE dietician Sheila King, and Financing the Farming Sector, a presentation on establishing a food enterprise on a dairy farm. A highlight will be the festive feast at the Listowel Arms Hotel, with head chef of the Europe Hotel Killarney, Simon Regan. Tickets for that event cost €15.
Sunday will be a day for treats with a Christmas craft fair and a workshop with chocolatier Siobhan Quilter.
