Flora pro.activ has come up with a new dessert. Try this sumptuous treat mixing seasonal apples and blackberries and warming juices underneath a crunchy crumble topping.
300g cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
100g brambles, washed
20g demerara sugar
1 tsp ground
cinnamon
For the crumble:
55g plain or wholemeal flour
55g jumbo oats
55g soft brown sugar
55g Flora Cuisine
1 Place the apples and brambles in a 500ml pie dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
2 For the crumble, place the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and rub in Flora Cuisine until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
3 Spoon over the fruit and bake in preheated oven 180°C, 160°C fan, Gas mark 4 for 40-45 minutes.
