Supplementary feeding of forage to cattle is no longer allowed on GLAS parcels that are assigned as Low Input Permanent Pasture (LIPP) or traditional hay meadows.
The change comes into effect immediately.
Sheep can be supplemented concentrates and meals as long as troughs/hay racks are moved often enough to avoid poaching.
