The date of Saturday 20 June 2015 has been set for Sheep 2015. The major sheep event, which takes place in Teagasc Mellows Campus Athenry, is being organised by Teagasc, Bord Bia, the Department of Agriculture, the Irish Farmers Journal, Sheep Ireland, and UCD.
The event is planning to build on the last successful sheep event held in the same venue in 2012 with an exhibition of all the major components of the sheep industry.
This includes sheep breed demonstrations and competitions, technical seminars and workshops, the latest advice from research and an extensive array of commercial exhibitors and trade stands from the country’s main sheep service providers.
