Agricultural science has become a popular choice for students in the past number of years, as demonstrated by point increases in courses across the board.

It’s particularly interesting to note that points for Waterford Institute of Technology’s (WIT) ordinary degree in Agricultural Science have almost doubled since 2008, soaring from 210 to 410. The Level 7 course is now worth 55 points less than the honours degree in UCD.

Due to the popularity of this course, WIT introduced an honours degree in Agricultural Science this year. School leavers need 430 points to gain entry into this course.
