At this year’s Crops & Spreaders event, IAM will show the Hardi Mega, NK and Master mounted sprayers along with the Navigator and Ranger trailed sprayers. The Mega is available with 1200, 1500, 1800, and 2200 litre tank capacities, while boom widths range from 15m to 28m.

Being the flagship mounted sprayer, it has Hardi’s DynamicFluid (DF4) pressure regulating system. This system uses four fluid sensors, measuring angle, rpm, pressure and boom pressure and one speed sensor. In the new Mega, all external spray line fittings are used to reduce uneven internal spray line pressure caused by the narrowing of joints due to the use of internal fittings.

Other features of the Mega include AirRide boom suspension, nine-part section control and Hardi’s 3D breakaway design on boom ends.

The Navigator trailed sprayer tank capacities range from 3,000l to 6,000l, all available with the option of two filling devices, PumpFiller or FastFiller. PumpFiller uses suction capacity of the pump for filling, while FastFiller is capable of filling up to 500l/min.

The 35l induction hopper has a TurboFiller feature, creating a combination of high vacuum and high liquid rotation to completely mix both liquids and powders before being sucked into the main tank.

All primary functions needed for filling or cleaning are on two handles located close to the induction hopper. As with the Mega, the Navigator is equipped with the DF4 system and AutoSectionControl. The Navigator is straightforward and easily used allowing for an excellent crop clearance between 70cm and 80cm.

The sprayer also has a reinforced boom, hydraulic boom suspension, no areas within its main tank to allow residue buildups and Hardi’s self-priming diaphragm pump.

The model on display will be equipped with the high-performing Delta Force boom. As with the Mega, multiple sensors are on board for AutoHeight and AutoSlant functions.
