According to Met Éireann, Tuesday will be mostly dry but dull day, with some hazy sunshine at times. There will be a few showers in the northwest at first and a few patches of drizzle in the southwest and west.

But later in the afternoon and towards evening, rain will push into northwestern and some western Atlantic coastal counties.

Top temperatures of 6°C to 9°C. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds will freshen.
