Dry in most areas this morning with sunny spells, according to Met Éireann. However, cloud will steadily thicken from the southwest in the afternoon bringing patchy rain to parts of Munster. Staying largely dry elsewhere though, with hazy sunshine in the northeast. Maximum temperatures will range from 10-14°C in mainly light winds but turning breezy in the south and west later in the day.

There will be rain in Ulster and Leinster early Thursday night with fog patches also. A mild, breezy night with temperatures of 7-10°C in fresh southerly winds.
