Weather forecast

Some persistent rain over east Ulster and east Leinster at first tomorrow, but this soon clearing northwards, according to Met Éireann.

There will be sunny spells but rain also, which will be fairly widespread and heavy through the afternoon and evening, with some thundery downpours in places.

It will be cold tonight, with clear spells and some scattered showers, these mainly in coastal areas. Mist will form, with some fog in places, as winds fall off light. Lowest temperatures 2°C to 5°C, with frost in rural areas also.
