KT programme update

Almost 10,000 farm improvement plans have yet to be submitted by farmers in the Knowledge Transfer Programme.

Approximately 9,800 animal health measures have been completed by Knowledge Transfer (KT) Programme-approved private veterinary practitioners to date.

Figures from the Department of Agriculture show that there are around 500 more farm improvement plans in progress.

Meanwhile, approximately 11,200 farm improvement plans have been submitted by KT facilitators with a further 5,200 in progress.

Checks and verifications on meetings compliance are ongoing.

The deadline for submission of farm improvement plans is 21 August.
