Irish Kuhn importer, Kuhn Center Ireland, will have a range of equipment on display at Oak Park.

The lineup is set to include the Kuhn LC3030 VENTA pneumatic seed drill. This versatile drill provides users with the flexibility to uncouple the power harrow or change tools in as little as 10 minutes, according to Kuhn.

The 3m unit can plant 20 or 24 rows at spacings of 12.5cm and 15cm with electronic metering.

The unit has a SeedFlex coulter bar equipped with double offset discs for optimum furrow opening. The discs are parallelogram-mounted with a press wheel to control seeding depth of each unit.

The LC3030 VENTA has a 1,500l capacity that is easily accessed for filling of the hopper.

Calibration is made easy with a button located to the rear of the drill.

The Venta metering system has a metering range from 1-430kg/ha. The drill is fully Isobus-ready, allowing for use with the tractor’s terminal or with a CCI terminal and for non-Isobus tractors the Quantron S-2 terminal is available.

The Optimer+ 403R stubble cultivator will also be on the Kuhn Center stand. The 4m disc harrow has 32 discs, each 510mm in diameter.

Each disc holder is fitted to the main frame with four rubber blocks acting as a damper to protect the main frame.

The Optimer+ 403R weighs 2,815kg and has a power requirement of 200hp. Four roller options are available – Crumbler, T-ring, T-Liner and Packliner.
