The Irish Limousin Cattle Society held its premier sale in Roscrea on Sunday achieving a top price of €11,000 for the reserve senior champion Sliabh Felim Mourinho. Bred and exhibited by Seán Ryan, Cappamore, Co Limerick, the August 2017-born bull carried five stars down the line and was acquired by a British pedigree herd. Sired by Kaprico Eravelle, Mourinho's pedigree also contains Bavardage and Vison.

Claiming overall senior champion was Coraghy Monkeytricks ET from Thomas O’Harte, Clones, Co Monaghan. This five star bull is a son of Ampertaine Foreman and goes back on British imported cow Dinmore Latena. Having failed to meet his reserve, Monkeytricks left the ring unsold.

In the junior championship the sash went the way of Charles Duddy with Foyle View Nintendo. This bull's pedigree featured Norman Ely, Sylvandene Defoe and Tertio. Born January 2018 and with a calving index of only 4.5%, Nintendo was kicked down at €5,200.

Taking home the reserve championship and a price of €5,600 was Bracken Nacho. Bred by Padraig Gormley, this March 2018 bull is a son of Gerrygullinane Glen.
