Limousin bulls sold to a top of 5,800gns for Aghadolgan Outlander, bred by Raymond Savage, Drumahoe, Co Derry, at the spring show and sale in Dungannon this week.

This August 2018 bull was sired by Wilodge Joskins and out of the homebred cow Aghadolgan Outlander, by Sympa.

Taking the title of supreme champion was Rahoney Obadiah from the herd of Howard and Graham McFarland, Trillick, which went on to sell for 5,600gns.

This March 2018-born bull was sired by Rahoney Lanech and from the homebred Rahoney Ilanna and caught the eye of judge Charles Beverland of Portaferry.

Reserve supreme champion was awarded to Henry Savage and Sons with their November 2018-born heifer, Trueman Octavia. Sired by Mereside Godolphin, this animal also realised a sale price of 5,600gns.

Reserve male champion went to the Loughran family, Cookstown with their November 2018-born, Millgate Optimus. Sired by Loosebeare Fantastic, the second placed male animal sold for 5,200gns.

Other standout prices saw 3,800gns paid twice for Ballynagerragh Ogeordie, bred by N Megarry and for Carmorn Otwo, bred by Francis McAuley.
