Lindner, the family-owned Austrian tractor brand, renowned for its four-wheel steering tractors, unveiled a brand-new model at Agritechnica. The new flagship Lintrac 160 is the largest tractor that Lindner has built to date, churning out 175hp and 160hp at the PTO shaft.
With the Lintrac 160, Lindner has moved away from Perkins sourced engine to a 4.5l four-cylinder FPT unit which is combined with a ZF stepless transmission. This TMT14 unit has a maximum travel speed of 50km/h at 1,660rpm. In terms of hydraulics, it is equipped with a 120l/min Bosch Rexroth variable displacement pump. There is a four speed PTO offering 540/540E/1000 and 1000E rpm.
True to Lindners DNA, manoeuvrability and compact size remain core to the Lintrac 160’s design. As an option, the rear axle can be optioned to rotate up to 20 degrees which allows a turning circle diameter of 8.5m. At the touch of a button the rear steering angle can be limited. Tyre sizes of up to 650/65 R38 can be fitted.
