Sult Music Festival – 12-14 July: All roads lead to Gaoth Dobhair this July as Sult returns for yet another year, and it is a festival not to be missed this summer. Boasting a fantastic line up, including Chasing Abbey, The Riptide Movement and Goats Don’t Shave to name but a few. The festival kicks off the Friday night, with a set from DJ Welshy and continues on into the weekend with performances from internationally renowned band The Hoosiers and Donegal’s own singer-songwriter Eve Belle. Tickets for the festival are on sale now and begin at just €15. A pass for both days retails at €50.

Wuthering Heights – 14 July: Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company as they proudly present their rendition of Emily Bronte’s famous Wuthering Heights. Set in the idyllic yet mysterious Yorkshire Moors, this tale of passion and revenge has enthralled audiences for centuries and is certainly a production not to be missed. Disney’s High School Musical 2 on Stage – 14 July: This amateur production is presented in the Pheonix Theatre, North Wall, Dublin by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe). It follows the East High gang who are about to start their new jobs at popular girl Sharpay’s father’s Lava Springs Country Club. Watch as Sharpay attempts to steal Troy’s heart away from Gabriella, while Ryan, her brother, sets his sights on the Star Dazzle Award. Tensions build and tempers fray as the talent show looms, with some members of the group struggling to keep their team spirit alive. Stuber – 12 July: Directed by Michael Dowse and starring Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan, this action-packed comedy follows Über driver Stu and the adventure that unfolds when he takes on a passenger who turns out to be a cop hot on the tail of a murderer. Watch as Stu grapples frantically to maintain both his sanity and his five-star rating. In cinemas nationwide from the 12 July.

Comedy Gold: Playback Special – 12 July: The Button Theatre, Dublin, is home to the most unique form of improv that one will find in Dublin. It involves the audience telling stories about their day which is then enacted by the players on the spot. An original comedy that is guaranteed to leave the audience in stitches, this is a show that is not to be missed. Tickets cost €10 and are available on Eventbrite.
