ENJOY a nostalgic evening of song and story with Irish folk music legend Johnny McEvoy, as he celebrates five decades in the music industry. Considered one of the most enduring and talented singer-songwriters of the last century, Johnny got his first break when he played support to the Rolling Stones all the way back in 1965. Soon after he was touring the US, performing in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall. He had number one hits with Mursheen Durkin, The Boston Burglar, Nora, Those Brown Eyes and Long Before Your Time just to name a few. He performs in the National Concert Hall on 19 February, a show that is not to be missed.
