With the use of knife rollers becoming more prevalent for cover crop destruction and shallow cultivations, Amazone has expanded its TopCut line up downwards with the introduction of a 5m and 6m model.
Just like the 12m trailed 12000-2T, the TopCut 5000-2 and 6000-2 models come from Amazone’s compact disc harrows. The range is designed for destructing stubbles and cover crops as well as creating a stale seed bed. It is designed to work at depths of up to 2cm and forward speeds up to 20km/h.
Mounted models comprise two knife rollers running behind one and other and can also be equipped with an optional three-row tine harrow.

The rear harrow helps with surface disturbance and straw distribution after the combine.
As a further option, the harrow can be optioned in a HD variant with tungsten carbide tips. The aggressiveness of the harrow can be adjusted hydraulically from the cab.
