The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE) has awarded Claas with two AE50 award. The two innovations receiving the awards is the new Claas Jaguar 1000 series and the Orbis 10500 maize header.
The official award ceremony will take place in February 2026 at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
"These two AE50 awards confirm what our customers already know: CLAAS continues to set standards in terms of performance, efficiency, and intelligent machine design for the harvesting of forage crops," explains Dennis Ogle, Sales Manager for Self-Propelled Harvesting Technology at CLAAS of America.
"Both the JAGUAR 1000 series and the ORBIS 10500 were developed in close collaboration with farmers and contractors, with a focus on real productivity gains and ease of use with a high degree of automation."
The JAGUAR 1000 series comprises of four models with engine outputs of up to 1,110hp, and recently set a new Guinness World Record for forage harvesting. The award recognises the new standards that the JAGUAR 1000 sets in terms of performance, efficiency and intelligent machine design.
AE50 Awards
The AE50 Awards are selected by a panel of engineering experts and represent one of the most respected recognitions in agricultural equipment development.
Since 1986, it claims to be the only awards program of its kind, recognising the top 50 most innovative, technologically advanced and market impacting products in agriculture, food, and biological systems.
Other brands to scoop the AE50 accolade for 2026 include Fendt with its 800 and 1000 Series Gen 4 and 5 tractors and John Deere with its See & Spray Select Variable Rate, See & Spray Select, John Deere Autonomy and the John Deere ExactInject System.
