Kubota will once again return to the National Ploughing Championships to display a whole host of agricultural and construction equipment – a number of which will make their Ploughing debut.
One of the larger machines making a first Ploughing appearance will be the M7004 tractor series, launched late last year. To coincide with its 50th anniversary last year, Kubota introduced its updated M7004 tractor lineup – which also happened to be the 10-year anniversary of the M7 range.
The M7004 range comprises three models from 130hp to 175hp, all powered by the same 6.1l four-cylinder Kubota engine and offered with the Kubota CVT transmission (KVT), or a powershift alternative. One tweak has been an updated pre-set droop setting for transmission sensitivity, which has led to improved fuel efficiency.
Other updates mainly involve operator convenience and include features such as an improved cooling pack position, new fuel and AdBlue tank as well as repositioned steps. The K-Monitor terminal also benefits from a quad-core processor.
Also making a first appearance will be the SVL tracked skid steer loader range. The model on display will be the SVL75-3, which is fitted with a 74hp Kubota engine. It has a rated operating capacity of 1,129kg at 35% tipping load and operating weight of 4,271kg.
In terms of construction equipment, the U17-5 2t mini digger will be new. It builds on the reputation from the U17-3 following its debut in 2008.
Updates include a 5% larger fuel tank, new control layout, an extendable undercarriage which has been increased to 1,300mm, and an independent travel circuit – which means all boom functions can be used without effecting track performance.
A wide range of machines from the brands other product portfolios will also be on display.

The SVL skid steer range will make its first Irish appearance at the Ploughing.

The updated U17-5 mini digger will also be on the stand.
