Cavan slurry equipment manufacturer Mastek is set to display a wide range of its wares at Grass 2026 next week. One of the most recent additions to the brand’s portfolio is its drop out umbilical reeler range, which will sit centre stage alongside a Combi Pump Set.

Two 1,000m drop out reelers will be paired up with a 12m twin macerator flexi shoe unit, fully kitted out with load-sensing valve chest and a flow meter. Launched at Lamma show earlier in the year, the drop-out reelers are designed to be dropped off in the field when spreading in order to keep weight to a minimum.

The range is available in sizes from 600m to 1,200m and comes with the option of double hydraulic motors, allowing the unit to be picked up from either direction.

The Combi Pump Set is an integrated umbilical pump and air compressor unit which uses a manual change-over clutch which allows the one PTO shaft to drive both the pump and the compressor.

Operators simply stop the PTO after pumping, exit the cab and manually switch over to engage the compressor. The machine’s compact design leaves it 15% bigger than its standard PTO pump set. With an upgraded output of 300 CFM at 10 bar and a safety one-way valve, Mastek says that its design is compatible with Mastek/Chior, Bauer or Doda pumps.

Mastek will also exhibit a 2,500 gallon tanker, kitted out with a lazy fill arm and fitted with a 9.2m Eco trailing shoe.

In terms of slurry separation equipment, Mastek will display a Sepcom separator. Claiming to have been involved with slurry separators for the past 15 years, Mastek says it has recently seen a huge interest in mobile separators amongst agricultural contractors and farmers.

Also on the Mastek stand will be a cutaway version of the proven Mastek macerator showing its design and inner working.
