Agritechnica: French manufacturer shows 3-in-1 bale shear bucket
French implement manufacturer, Magsi, presented its latest Xtra’Shark 3-in-1 bucket at Agritechnica, a versatile bucket combining a tine grab and plastic retaining bale shears.
Established in 1997, French manufacturer and sister company of Emily attachments, Magsi, who also manufacture a wide range of tractor front loader and telehandler attachments presented its latest multi-purpose bucket, ideally suited for winter feeding.
The new Xtra’Shark bucket combines a grab element as well as a film retaining bale shear, allowing operators the possibility to carry out a number of tasks without having to switch between dedicated attachments. It is available in 2.3m and 2.45m working widths with respective weights of 990kg and 1,045kg. In terms of dimensions, the Xtra’Shark bale shear bucket measures 1m high, 1.1m deep while the grab opens to allow a clearance of 1.5m. The film retaining device works via sequencing valve while blades and tines are all bolt-in, leaving replacement easy. The bucket features a 10mm floor and sides and a 150mm x 20mm cutting edge, along with 45mm grab hinge pins. A reversible bolt-on cutting blade is optional. It is understood that a well-known Irish dealer is in talks with Magsi regarding distribution in Ireland.
Five horizontal hooks are used to grab and retain the film.
