Well known in the agricultural industry, where he has had a long and successful career, Paul has extensive experience of the dealer and manufacturing sectors, much of it gained with Case IH. Having joined the company as regional service manager in 1989, he has subsequently taken on increasing responsibilities within Case IH, becoming area manager, then major accounts manager and most recently harvesting co-ordinator EMEA, a position to which he was appointed in May 2012.

Commenting on his new role, Paul said: “I am delighted to take this key position within Case IH and very much look forward to further developing the profile and image of the brand to meet the requirements and expectations of professional farmers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.”

The Case IH product range includes the new Optum CVX Series tractor, which was named Machine of the Year 2016 at Agritechnica .

Matthew Foster, vice-president of Case IH and Steyr for EMEA, welcomed Paul to his new role, saying his appointment “follows on from the success which he has achieved in developing sales of Case IH Axial-Flow combine harvesters in Europe, the Middle East and Africa”.

This appointment comes off the back of what has been a difficult year for machinery sales, with Case-New Holland (CNH) predicting up to 24% decline in sales for its end-of-year results.
