Corvus, the first European UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) manufacturer, will be returning to Tullamore to exhibit at the 95th National Ploughing Championships. The Spanish manufacturer says that its presence in Tullamore reflects its commitment to the Irish market. Corvus explained that it will attend the event to present its DX4 range to farmers, contractors and rural services’ professionals, and to strengthen its dealer network in the region.
Terrain DX4 1000
The DX4 1000 is the company’s flagship model in the range.
It is powered by a Yanmar three-cylinder, 1,000cc diesel engine, delivering 24hp, which is married up to an automatic CVT transmission, switchable 4×2/4×4 drive, rear differential lock and electric power steering.
It offers 720kg of total payload, 450kg in the cargo bed and 907kg of towing capacity, with double-wishbone independent suspension and engine access via a tipping bed for ease of maintenance.
The Terrain DX4 800 is the compact alternative, powered by a three-cylinder, 800cc Yanmar diesel engine delivering 22hp, also with CVT transmission, 4×4 drive and differential lock. It’s a more compact machine, coming in at 1,449mm wide, with 242mm ground clearance and 3.86-metre turning radius. It features 500kg of payload and a 600kg towing capacity.
The DX4 range is offered in five different specification levels, with the main differences including electric power steering (EPS) and an enclosed cab with air conditioning.
