Farmhand has big plans to showcase a sizeable lineup of machinery from Krone, Amazone, Quicke and APV, across grassland, tillage and crop care equipment at the Ploughing next week.

A key attraction will be the 843hp Krone BiG X 860, the newest addition to Krone’s BiG X forage harvester lineup.

The Krone BiG M 450 will also take centre stage, as the iconic self-propelled mower celebrates its 30th birthday this year. Farmhand is known to think outside the box with its show setups, and this year’s Ploughing exhibition will follow a similar trend, with the BiG M 450 being suspended on a frame almost 10ft into the air.

The new MX 380 forage wagon, which is only being launched by Krone at the end of next week, will make its Irish debut at the event. Technical detail is still limited, but the wagon has a 38m³ capacity, is fitted with a 2.02m camless EasyFlow pick-up with five rows of tines arranged in a straight line.

Fitted with 39 knives, it offers a theoretical 37mm chop length.

The Krone grassland display will also include the EasyCut B 880 CV, EasyCut R 321 CV, EasyCut R 280 and AMR 240 mowers, together with the Swadro TC 880 rake and Vendro 1120 C tedder, giving visitors the opportunity to view a good selection of the huge Krone range.

The impressive Pantera 7004 self-propelled sprayer will be representing Amazone, showcasing the latest in high-capacity, precision crop protection. Alongside the Pantera will be the new ZA-TS AutoSpread and ZA-V 2000 Profis Tronic fertiliser spreaders, designed to deliver accurate application.

The Amazone lineup will also feature the Teres 200 plough and a UF 2002 mounted sprayer, with the FT 1500 front tank rounding off a strong display of machinery for crop care equipment. The Farmhand merchandise stand will also return with the new Krone BiG M 30 years jersey and 75 limited edition scale models, celebrating three decades of the BiG M self-propelled mower.

Fastparts

Farmhand subsidary Fastparts will also be attending the Ploughing with a wide selection of implements and attachments.

The display will include APV grassland equipment, including the GS 450 with mounted seeder and Rakeman 3000, alongside a range of Quicke implements including Balecut, Silocut, Multigrab and MultiBennie. A selection of Dromone hitches, Broomex brushes, Kajo and OxRock products will also be on display.
