FK Machinery feed auger bucket with silage defacer
Kilkenny-based machinery distributor Castleagri showcased 12 attachments from Polish machinery manufacturer FK Machinery at the event last week.
Up front and centre was a feeding auger bucket with a silage defacer.
With two ranges, FK Machinery offers eight models, from 1.2m3 to 2m3, designed for tractors with front-end loaders up to industrial.
Equipped with two hydraulic motors, the 1.8m bucket has a recommended flow rate of 50l/min. The firm has said this bucket will both self-load from a pit face, and also feed out concentrates and maize, etc.
On display was the flagship FBHSV220, which is 2.2m wide. Weighing in at 1,020kg, it has a 2m3 capacity.
Prices for the entry level unit start at €9,000 plus VAT, while the largest model fully spec’d for Irish conditions, which was on display, is priced at €11,200 plus VAT.
