Following the launch of its 7.5m and 9.2m trailing shoe in recent years, Fleming Agri Products is set to return to the National Ploughing Championships, where it will launch its latest 5.6m End Tow grassland roller to the Irish market.

With a working width of 5.6m (18.37ft) the lengthy barrel features a substantial 0.9m diameter, manufactured with a 12mm thick wall. The barrel is supported by 65mm high-tensile steel axles and six 65mm heavy duty greaseable flange bearings.

A key feature of the new model is the heavy-duty three-point linkage A-frame, providing excellent manoeuvrability both in the field and during transport, while allowing operators to quickly and easily change between transport and working positions.

The reinforced heavy-duty chassis provides maximum strength and durability, while the water-ballasted barrel gives farmers the flexibility to increase the roller’s operating weight when required.

It is fitted with 400/60 R15.5 tyres and according to Fleming has a minimum power requirement of 120hp.

Fleming will also display the V2 ST2500 Slurry tanker fitted with a 7.5m trailing shoe.

Also on display will be the V2 ST2500 Slurry tanker fitted with a 7.5m Fleming Agri trailing shoe. The V2 slurry tanker has galvanised mud guards, galvanised PTO rest and beacon as standard. All Fleming Agri tankers are seem welded inside and out, and are also painted inside and out for anti-corrosion protection. Barrels feature internal bracing and baffling for added strength and safety as standard, while end caps are manufactured using 6mm thick steel.

Meanwhile, the Fleming Agri trailing shoe has a cantilever lift system for maximum clearance for transport and headland management. It also has bi-lateral float to ensure constant contact with the ground even in undulating ground conditions.

Fleming Agri will also be showcasing their range of grassland toppers, all of which are now available with a galvanised finish. Other machines on display include the TR6 drop side tipping trailer, AR10 aerator, the MS700 side discharge muck spreader and as well as yard scrapers, bale handlers and transport boxes.
