Schäffer launched its new compact loader 3650-2, the successor to the 3650, at Agritechnica this week.
The new model features a newly developed ‘comfort cab’. The cab offers 30% more volume and comes with an optional air conditioning system. It says the increased spring travel of the cab suspension reduces vibrations, while better insulation lowers noise levels.
It features a wider doorway with increased legroom, which Schäffer says was made possible by the new slimmer steering column.
A three-pin socket for attachment control terminals and USB ports for charging mobile phones are now standard features. With 10% more glass, a more compact bonnet and larger mirrors, the new cab offers better visibility.
Its 50hp Kubota engine is married up to a hydrostatic transmission. The operating weight of the cab version is 2,850kg while the standard lifting height is 2.95m which can be optionally increased to 3.20m.
It has a lift capacity of 2,000kg. The machine is 2.27m high and 1.20 and 1.57m wide, depending on the tyres.
The hydraulic system is 46l/min and can be increased to 81l/min with Multi High Flow. Pricing will be around €56,300 plus VAT.
