Strautmann has expanded its flagship range of Magnon forage wagons to now include two smaller, more compact models. Introduced to slot in between the existing Magnon 8 and 9 series and 10 and 11 series, the new Magnon 8/9-330 and 10/11-390 models offer 32m3 and 38m3 loading volumes. Both machines are aimed at customers who require the same level of performance and short chop length achieved from the larger Magnon models, albeit in a more compact form.
The smaller of the two, the Magnon 8/9-330 features an 18t bogie chassis for a 22t gross vehicle weight. The larger Magnon 10/11-390 is fitted with a 20t hydraulic chassis, allowing a 24t gross vehicle weight, and benefits from all the selling points of the larger Magnon 10 and 11 models.
Meanwhile, both models are capable of a theoretical 22mm or 35mm chop length and are equipped with the hydraulic front headboard.
The first machines will be available for the 2027 season.
