Independence in your bathroom majorly influences your quality of life. As our needs change, bathrooms can be challenging to navigate, with fixtures too high or too low, floors that can get wet and slippery, and limited space for manoeuvring.

At Bathrooms4U (B4U), we are proud to have installed 1000s of mobility bathrooms throughout Ireland. The B4U team has worked with councils across Ireland to secure mobility bathroom grants of up to 95% of the cost.

Our team has extensive experience in carrying out all types of disability modifications and adaptations. We can make your home accessible and give you the independence to continue living in your home with comfort, dignity and ease.

Our mobility range includes:

  • Wetroom showers and shower seats.
  • Walk-in baths and bath lifts.
  • Toilet seat life – ideal for those suffering from muscle or joint weakness. It fits over most existing toilet bowls and is easy to install.
  • Hoists – we offer a range of safe and discreet motorised hoists.
  • Stairlifts – we can make going up and down the stairs a comfortable experience rather than a painful one. Our range of Acorn stairlifts are easy to operate and will enable you to glide up and down the stairs effortlessly. You can even try one out for yourself, with a fully working stairlift in our mobility showroom.

Ensuring you have the proper support and space from your bathroom design is where our expertise comes in. We know the questions to ask and how to consider the answers within your bathroom design, having worked extensively with occupational therapists around the country to meet the required specifications.

These are some of the considerations we make when designing your mobility bathroom:

  • Does the user need to be sitting, standing or lying down?
  • What, if any, mobility aids (wheelchair, walker, cane, etc.) does the user need?
  • Is the user’s mobility stable or expected to improve or deteriorate over time?
  • How self-reliant is the user?
  • Do they have a carer or support worker?
  • Is the user right- or left-handed?
  • Every bathroom is designed for the individual first and foremost. You can rest assured that you’re in safe hands with our experienced and qualified teams and tradespeople who follow strict HSE COVID-19 guidelines.

    Before and after

    Testimonials

“We would highly recommend Bathrooms4U; they have just finished our big transformation where we combined our en suite and family bathroom into one big family bathroom. Alan Kelly, their sales manager, was extremely helpful from the off and was always available on the phone if we wanted to make any changes or add some extras. Aidan and his team did Trojan work getting the place ready for the fit-out. All Bathrooms4U teams who worked on our project were top class, and their workmanship was second to none. All the best for the future to Bathrooms4U” – Declan and Susan.

“I would highly recommend Bathrooms4U – they have just finished my parent’s bathroom. I would like to thank the lady in the showroom who was extremely helpful and to all the tradesmen who done an excellent job” – Karen.

“Delighted with our new bathroom from Bathrooms4U. The workmanship was top-notch from beginning to end; nothing was too much trouble and to have a brand new mobility bathroom at the end of five days was fantastic. No chasing plumbers, labourers or electricians, Bathrooms4U look after it all and include a warranty on their work after. Highly recommend this company, customer service aimed solely at the customer” – Mark.
