Rathdowney Macra is proud to present The Mock Wedding of the Midlands, which takes place on Saturday 14 March at 7.30pm in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Co Laois.
Tickets are €30 each, including a four-course meal, entertainment by Abbeyfolk and a DJ until late, as well as entry into a fantastic draw on the night. All proceeds raised on the night go towards two fantastic local charities, Embrace FARM and Cuisle Centre, Portlaoise.
Embrace FARM was founded by Brian Rohan and his wife, Norma, a farming family from Shanahoe, Co Laois, in 2014 to provide a bereavement support group for farm families who, like them, have lost a loved one or, indeed, suffered serious injury in a farming accident.
Cuisle Support Centre provides a warm, safe and welcoming environment for people diagnosed with cancer and their families affected by it.
All services provide free care to patients and family; such as counselling, group information talks, breast care, stress management, holistic massage, reflexology, acupuncture and art therapy.
