A new website has been launched by Animal Health and Welfare NI (AHWNI) as part of an industry campaign to provide information to farmers on bovine TB.
According to Dr Sam Strain from AHWNI, the aim is that the website will offer farmers access to trusted information on the disease.
He said the online resource is only one of many actions that need to be taken if TB is to be controlled. “However, fundamental to controlling the infection is understanding it and knowing some of the measures farmers can take to reduce the risk of infection spread.
