Butter on Wednesday was down by a further €60/t, leaving it at €5,440/t. At the end of July European butter was priced at €7,180/t.

Whole milk powder has also dropped in price over the period, falling from €4,240 at the end of July to €3,720/t on Wednesday, down €100/t on last week.
Skim milk powder on Wednesday was priced at €2,170/t, down €40/t on last week and €180/t lower than at the end of July.
