Well-known farming campaigner, Kevin MacAuley passed away on Monday 20 October at Slemish Private Nursing Home after an illness.

Kevin ran a beef and sheep farm in Broughshane and was an active member of various farm organisations. He also was a noted columnist with the Farm Week newspaper.

Kevin tirelessly championed the cause of NI farmers across the country. Behind the scenes he was also someone who offered many encouraging words. His remains will be removed from his home, 20 Lisnamurrican Road, Broughshane on Friday 24 October at 11am to St Patricks Parish Church, Crebilly for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Our sincere condolences to Kevin’s wife Winifred, his daughter Catherine and the wider family circle.
