The chief executive of Leprino Europe, Paul Vernon, has announced he will retire in December 2027.

Vernon joined Leprino in 2023 following its acquisition of Glanbia Cheese, which had previously operated as a joint venture between Glanbia plc and Leprino. Vernon had been chief executive of Glanbia Cheese since 1995 and has been an important figure in the NI dairy industry over that period.

Leprino has confirmed its vice president, Doug Brasier will take over as general manger of European operations and he will be relocating to the UK in January 2027.
